New Delhi: The Delhi Police on Saturday evening booked over 2500 people and register 222 cases regarding the violation of the night curfew that has been imposed in the national capital. This was a part of a special drive that was launched by the Delhi police.
Reports suggest that the police will be carrying out more such drives to check if the people are following covid-19 norms. “In total, 2,523 people were booked under Section 65 (persons bound to comply with the reasonable directions of a police officer) of Delhi Police Act and sections 107 (security for keeping the peace in other cases) and 151 (arrest to prevent the commission of cognisable offences) of the CrPC,” Delhi Police additional PRO Ani
